Ich bin Diplom-Informatikerin mit vielen Jahre Erfahrung mit großen, verteilten und multikulturellen Softwareprojekten, ebenso wie mit Selbstorganisation und mit Change Management.

Derzeit bin ich an einer großen agilen Transformation in der Produktentwicklung eines großen Dienstleistungsunternehmens beteiligt. Ich bin Sparringspartner für alle Hierarchieebenen von der Geschäftsleitung bis zu Teams und Communities.

In den Jahren davor habe ich ein großes Softwareprojekt in der Medizintechnik agil gemacht, und eine Reihe von neuen agilen Teams und Projekte trainiert, beraten, unterstützt und gecoacht.

Ich bin aktives Mitglied im Agile Lean Europe (ALE) Netzwerk.

Über das einzelne agile Projektteam hinaus beschäftigt mich die Idee der selbstorganisierenden Firma, die eine intelligente Antwort auf die Frage nach der immer schnelleren Veränderung der Wirtschaftswelt im 21. Jahrhundert darstellt, die erfordert, dass man nicht nur sehr gut Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter anstellt, sondern ihnen auch ermöglicht, ihre Talente zum Wohl der Firma einzusetzen. Es ist längst nicht mehr nur in der Softwareentwicklung nötig, agil zu denken – vielmehr geht es in nahezu allem Branchen um Business-Agilität, um weiterhin am Markt zu bestehen und die Probleme der Kunden von heute zu lösen.

My experience comes from many years of working in a variety of roles in software projects – often big, distributed, multinational teams, where I got to know every single team and contributor. Apart from the university degree in computer science, I have also many years of experience in self organization and change management.

Currently I am working on the agile transition of a big software house for financial software products and services. I am working with persons and teams on all hierarchy levels, with agile communities, business and HR departments.

During a couple of years, I have facilitated the transition to agile of a big software developing organization creating software for medical devices. In this effort, I have trained new agile teams, coached them in agile project management, and helped to organize all the other aspects of agile in the whole organization.

I am active member of the Agile Lean Europe (ALE) Nework.

Beyond the agile product development organization I am driven by the need of businesses to change the whole company culture in order to really make use of the talent they hire. Beyond the software development department, nowadays any company needs to apply agile thinking across all departments- reducing silo mentality to achieve real business agility.
